Soothing Touch Covid-19 Safety Plan
There are currently guidelines set in place by our Provincial Health Officer (PHO) and Work Safe B.C to help minimize the spread of the Virus.
Here are some of the steps I will be taking in efforts to continue to guarantee a safe space for my clients and myself.
- I am Certified in Beauty Safe by the Beauty Council (which I am a member of). It is a program promoting protocols and high standards of infection control, safe cleaning, sterilization and chemical practices.
- There will be a screening process during the time of bookings. If you or someone in your household has recently travelled or has been ill you will need to cancel your appointment and wait till a later date. (no exceptions)
- Maintaining physical distancing within the spa at all times possible
- Hand Sanitizer will be available upon entering the Spa or I ask that clients use the restroom to wash their hands.
- Masks are MANDATORY for clients and myself at all times inside the spa. I ask that you bring your own if you are able.
- I have removed all testers, magazines, brochures and high touch items to avoid cross contamination.
- I will be booking my days with extra time in between clients to follow ramped up disinfection protocols.
- All surfaces in contact with client and myself during services will be cleaned with an approved Health Canada Disinfectant, disposed or laundered.
- I ask that clients do not come earlier than their appointment time to allow for the spa to be properly disinfected. If you arrive early please message me and if I am ready I will let you know you can come in.
- I ask that clients only bring their essentials with them into the spa
- Please bring your own pen for consent form
- I ask that clients come alone (no children, friends, spouses etc)
- If you will be driven to your appointment please make arrangements for them to wait in the car or to come back at the end of your appointment time.
- I will accept EXACT cash payments (no change will be given), Email Money Transfer and Credit Card processing prior to your appointment and my POS machine is now set up for TAP if you wish to use this feature.
- I ask that clients exit the spa once payment has been made to allow me the time I need to properly disinfect and prepare a safe space for the next client in a timely manner.
- You will still receive a reminder message a day or two prior to your appointment but it will now include a message with directions on what to do when you arrive for your appointment and guidelines.
Please respect the guidelines so my business can stay open, we can all stay healthy and safe and I can continue to offer a relaxing retreat for other clients during this time and into the future.
